A neighborhood sushi-ya passionate about ingredients and focused on a mix of traditional sushi fare, modern reinterpretations and small shareable plates in an intimate "heart of Tokyo" space. Featuring an expansive wine, sake and beer list as well as daily specials sourced from Japan and beyond, we aim to create an experience unique to our region.

Yoshitomo also houses Ota a private counter serving omakase style sushi. A multi-course experience meticulously curated and previously only available in the great sushi cities of the world. We strive to serve only the best and have gone to great lengths to source virtually every ingredient from Japan.

Ota Omakase

In Japanese, “omakase” roughly translates to “Entrust.” Each guest places themselves in the hands of the itamae, allowing them to orchestrate a meal from an ever changing menu based on the season's availability and the whims of the itamae.

Ota Omakase is located in a side room at Yoshitomo, Ota usually hosts between 6-8 omakase seatings per month, typically on weekend nights.
